JOB TITLE: Creative Assistant
SUPERVISOR: Carolyn Kach, Creative Lead

The Anchor Gathering’s Mission: We provide a place where women can gather in a non-threatening environment to hear about the hope Jesus Christ brings and a community of new and old friends that can grow together.


Work closely with the Creative Lead, Executive Assistant, and Executive Director to assist with creative and marketing needs.


  • Work with other Creative Team members to produce content

  • Web-based collateral including website updates, email creation, assistance with social media graphics, and more

  • Print-based collateral including stationery, mailings, and more

  • Photo retouching, manipulation, color correcting and archiving

  • Update website information and assist Webmaster as needed

  • Using take aways from marketing analytics to create new concepts

  • Other duties to assist Creative Team


Education: Bachelor’s degree in Design preferred; design certificate or training preferred; high school graduation, post-high school progress toward a degree or technical school.

Experience: Highly proficient in the Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), and computer skills (Microsoft Office suite, social media platforms, and Google Drive; excellent written and verbal skills; self-directed and able to work remotely; energetic and eager to design and tackle new projects; eager to learn current design methods

Other: A strong commitment to Jesus Christ and a passion to share the hope we have in Him; ability to adapt to a fast-growing mission


  • Strong relational people skills

  • Expertise across Adobe Suite

  • Computer skills in Adobe, Macintosh, Windows and Google platforms

  • Strong sense of design


  • Must be able to drive a car

  • Be able to work events (remotely) with irregular hours occasionally
