Every month, we will be sharing one of our favorite Anchor Moments with you. The Anchor Moment is a special time of sharing where someone briefly shares about a time in their life when their faith has truly anchored them, inspired them or directed their decision making.

This weeks Anchor moment is from Elizabeth Kreiselmaier, an educational researcher and congressional candidate from Gig Harbor, WA.
Dr. Elizabeth Kreiselmaier lives in Gig Harbor, WA, with her husband Paul & son Brent. She’s from California and has a Ph.D. from the University of Oregon. She worked for nearly 20 years as a Research Scientist and Program Director at research institutes in both Oregon and California in the field of educational program evaluation before moving to Gig Harbor with her family in 2005.
Though raised in a Christian home, she experienced a tumultuous childhood which drove her far away from the faith of her youth for quite a long season to seek refuge instead in academics, achievements, aesthetics and adventures. Only after the birth of their now 20 year old son did she truly turn her full attention back to the Lord, bringing all of her doubts and fears with her and directly to the feet of Jesus. Elizabeth is now an unabashed, on-fire disciple of Jesus who strives to live out a Romans 12 life of service and sacrifice that’s pleasing to God, whom she calls her “Audience of One”.
