Every month, we will be sharing one of our favorite Anchor Moments with you. The Anchor Moment is a special time of sharing where someone briefly shares about a time in their life when their faith has truly anchored them, inspired them or directed their decision making.

This month’s Anchor Moment is from Lisa Odegard, an author and graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, from Mercer Island, WA.
Lisa grew up and attended college in the Willamette Valley, just outside of Portland, Oregon where she earned her baccalaureate degree in nutrition. She then furthered her education in New York, and graduated a few years later from the prestigious Culinary Institute of America in the picturesque Hudson River Valley.
She loves all things food related-delving deeper into food science, dabbling in food photography and of course, cooking for friends and family.
When not in her kitchen, you might find Lisa happily tucking into a bowl of mussels and frites and sipping a glass of Champagne at her corner bistro spot. Her penchant for French cuisine not withstanding, she like everyone else may be spotted soon after that tasty bite at the neighborhood grocery store, tortured by the age old question, “What should I make for dinner?”
