Every month, we will be sharing one of our favorite Anchor Moments with you. The Anchor Moment is a special time of sharing where someone briefly shares about a time in their life when their faith has truly anchored them, inspired them or directed their decision making.

This month’s Anchor Moment is from Amy Evans, a Renton, WA resident involved in women’s ministry at Crossroads Bible Church.
With a passion for speaking and discipleship, Amy loves sharing God’s truth with women and encouraging them to live their life abiding in Christ and walking in his freedom. She has been married to her best friend, Kyle, since 2004, and they have had the privilege of working in vocational ministry since 2009 — something they never planned to do with their lives!
After serving together in youth ministry for five years, they moved overseas and served as missionaries for six years in Slovenia and the Czech Republic. Currently, Amy is heavily involved in women’s ministry and teaching women’s bible studies at Crossroads Bible Church in Bellevue, WA. She is a mom to three high-energy, wild-eyed boys, and loves traveling, family bike rides, sitting around the fire making s’mores (with peanut butter cups!), and having coffee and deep conversations with friends.
She studied Communication and Marketing at Seattle Pacific University and currently resides with her family in Renton, WA. Amy desires for everyone to know the joy-filled and abundant life that comes with placing our faith and hope in Jesus!
